Love is a feeling that begins in our heart. To be"born again" is the birth of a life of love that transforms our being. For Jesus our loving God is not so much our doing acts of worship as it is our state of being that comes with our having the feeling of the love of God in our heart constantly.

The love of God that Jesus reflects in his life is the true measure of God's love being made complete in us. For the first century disciples of Jesus: The feeling of God's love in our heart becomes almost synonymous with the spirit. When we both totally and completely love God and everyone: We feel only God's love in our heart; Our feeling of love increases; And our love actually begins to overflow.

The air smells sweeter.

We are in harmony with everything
around us.

Just as our heart pumps chemicals that create a cold feeling when we are threatened (fear/flight response) our heart pumps chemicals that create a warm feeling when we love. The ultimate challenge of living Jesus' life of love is for us to be able to put the feeling of love in our heart when we are in pain. Our love commands each of us to both respect and support all of our individual differences in beliefs and customs. Our life of love truly brings healing into our life and into the lives of everyone we touch: When we reaffirm our love. Our living Jesus' life of love does take courage. Our living a life of love also takes humility. If we are forgiving, others become more forgiving towards us. When we forgive, we are the real beneficiary. The positive, empowering feeling of God's love in our heart will never fail to help us transcend all of life's adventures.

The Light of Love

Have we ever seen Light...
shining in our face...
Have we ever felt Warmth...
radiating from our heart...
Have we ever experienced Joy...
streaming through our entire being...

These are the Signs of Love.

How can we hate...
with the Sparkle of Love in our eyes...
How can we hurt...
with the Surge of Love in our veins...
How can we be troubled...
with the Glow of Love in our soul...
