2000 years ago lived a person named “Jesus.” He has been believed
by many to be the “Christ,” the Son of God. He came to create
a new world, “The Kingdom of God.” He lived a life of love,
as the living word: the Word incarnate.
Three hundred years ago, people from Europe suffered the perilous journey
across the Atlantic Ocean to the Americas: to create a new world. As we
travel throughout New England, the original colonies, and across the Americas:
we find places of worship at the center of each community.
It is the same across Europe and around the world: our ancestors chose
places of worship as the center of their life.
If we were to populate a new world today, what would we place at the center
of our world: to help us make our life everything it has the possibility
to be?
